Sarah was born in 1813.1   Sarah's father was Edmund PARHAM and her mother was Sarah COPIS.  Her paternal grandparents were James PARHAM and Mary UNKNOWN. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, John, William, Edmund, Eleanor, Emma and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 80 in 1893.1
