John Pocock PARHAM

John was born in 1821 and his christening took place on March 18th, 1821 in Sidlesham, Sussex, England.¹   John's father was Edmund PARHAM and his mother was Sarah COPIS.  His paternal grandparents were James PARHAM and Mary UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, James, William, Edmund, Eleanor, Sarah, Emma and Mary.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 76 on May 25th, 1897 in Queenstown, SA.  He was buried in Woodville, Adelaide, SA.^1 2
