Charles Joseph Watson MATTHEWS

Charles was born on November 30th, 1887 in Queenstown, SA.¹   Charles' father was George MATTHEWS and his mother was Eliza WATSON.  His paternal grandparents were George MATTHEWS and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Joseph WATSON and Miriam COTTON. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George, William, Eliza, Florence, Margaret, Emmie and Fanny.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 80 on January 30th, 1968 in Woodville, Adelaide, SA.²
