His paternal grandparents were Richard JOWSEY and Mary Sanderson ROBINSON. He had a brother and three sisters, named Albert, Margaret, Mary and Elsie. He was the second oldest of the five known children. He died at 9 months old on June 30th, 1894 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England.
