Maud Louisa DAVIESS

Maud was born on February 14th, 1874 in Brompton, Adel, SA.¹   Maud's father was John Alexander DAVIESS and her mother was Ada Emma PEARSON.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas DAVIESS and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Thomas PEARSON and Louisa Maria BALLS. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Alexander, Alfred, Herman, Fredrick, Ada and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
