Herman Davies Chester DAVIESS

Herman was born on September 23rd, 1880 in Brompton Park, SA.¹   Herman's father was John Alexander DAVIESS and his mother was Ada Emma PEARSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas DAVIESS and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Thomas PEARSON and Louisa Maria BALLS. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Alexander, Alfred, Fredrick, Ada, Maud and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.
