Alfred Henry DAVIESS

Alfred was born on March 30th, 1878 in Brompton, Adel, SA.¹   Alfred's father was John Alexander DAVIESS and his mother was Ada Emma PEARSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas DAVIESS and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Thomas PEARSON and Louisa Maria BALLS. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Alexander, Herman, Fredrick, Ada, Maud and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 49 on June 28th, 1927 in Brompton, Adel, SA.  He was buried in 1927.^2 3
