Sir Rowland Stanley (of Hooton and Storeton) 
Rowland was born in 1524 in Hooton, Cheshire, England. Rowland's father was William Stanley and his mother was Grace Griffith. His paternal grandparents were Sir William Stanley and Anne Harrington; his maternal grandparents were William Griffith and Jane Stradling. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Edward, John, Mary, Jane and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died about April 25th, 1614. He was buried on April 25th, 1614 in Eastham, Cheshire, England.-
