Margaret Ross

Margaret was born in 1863 in Dufftown, Banffshire, Scotland.  Margaret's father was William Ross and her mother was Jane Grant.  Her paternal grandparents were John Ross and Margaret Stewart; her maternal grandparents were Peter Grant and Margaret Currie. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, Alexander, Isabella, Jane, Jessie, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
