Alexander Ross

Alexander was born in 1887 in Keith, Banffshire, Scotland.  Alexander's father was William Ross and his mother was Jane Grant.  His paternal grandparents were John Ross and Margaret Stewart; his maternal grandparents were Peter Grant and Margaret Currie. He had a brother and six sisters, named George, Margaret, Isabella, Jane, Jessie, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the eight children.
