Charles Borrowman was born on June 1st, 1888 in Plumstead, London, England. Charles Borrowman's father was Ernest Inkerman Renton and his mother was Ann Carrie Tadman. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Borrowman Renton and Sarah Anne Hayes. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Arthur Ernest Hayes, Sidney Albert, Ernest Alan, Albert Edmund, Cecil, Ethel Annie, Mabel Olive, Florence Annie and Amy Constance. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 34 on October 25th, 1922 in Chieveley Railway Station, Natal, SA.-
