Margaret Greig

Margaret was born on March 20th, 1840 in Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland and her baptism took place there on March 20th, 1840.  Margaret's father was James Greig and her mother was Elizabeth Craik.  Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Greig and Margaret Symington; her maternal grandparents were James Craik and Agnes Thompson. She had five brothers named Alexander, Thomas, James, James and Charles.  She was the oldest of the six children.
