Charles Morrell Girdlestone 
Charles Morrell was born about March 1828 in Sedgley, Staffordshire, England and his baptism took place there on March 2nd, 1828. Charles Morrell's father was Rev Charles Girdlestone and his mother was Ann Elizabeth Morrell. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Rainbow Girdlestone and Caroline Roberts Powell. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Edward Deacon, James, William Theophilus, Henry, Robert Baker, John Ward, Arthur Gilbert and Mary Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in September 1872 in Lancashire, England.-
