John Leslie Bowden 
John Leslie was born in 1881. John Leslie's father was John Clark Bowden and his mother was Priscilla Matilda Down. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Bowden and Caithrine Clarke. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Horace Clark, Oswald Ernest, Colin Claude, Harold Bruce, Mabel Priscilla and Adeline Matilda. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 in 1961.-
