Horace Clark Bowden 
Horace Clark was born in 1875. Horace Clark's father was John Clark Bowden and his mother was Priscilla Matilda Down. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Bowden and Caithrine Clarke. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Oswald Ernest, John Leslie, Colin Claude, Harold Bruce, Mabel Priscilla and Adeline Matilda. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 81 in 1956.-
