Isobel Borrowman 
Isobel was born on October 6th, 1704 in Lonhead, Lasswade, Midlothian and her baptism took place there on October 8th, 1704. Isobel's father was James Borrowman and her mother was Elizabeth Borthwick. Her paternal grandparents were John Barrowman and Janet Gray; her maternal grandparents were Sir Archibald Borthwick 16th Lord and Elizabeth Gillespie. She had three brothers and a sister, named Archibald, James, George and Martha. She was the oldest of the five children.-
