Silas Younkin

Silas was born on December 28th, 1844 in Addison Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹ Silas' father was Henry F Younkin and his mother was Mary King (Younkin). His paternal grandparents were Frederick G Younkin and Catherine Patton (Younkin). He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Moses, William, Alfred, Harrison, John, Ross, Jerry, Cassie, Rachel, Mary and Hilah. He died at the age of 79 on February 2nd, 1924 in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA. He was buried at the Old Baptist Cemetery, Confluence, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹¹
