Henry Younkin

Henry was born in 1784 in Virginia, USA. Henry's father was Johannes Michael “John” Younkin and his mother was Catharina Dorsheimer (Younkin). His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich “Henry” Junghen and Catharina Scherer (Junghen). He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, John, Jacob, John, George, Mary and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 in 1850 in Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹
