George Younkin

George was born on October 10th, 1793 in Lovittsville, Loudoun county, Virginia, USA.¹ George's father was Johannes Michael “John” Younkin and his mother was Catharina Dorsheimer (Younkin). His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich “Henry” Junghen and Catharina Scherer (Junghen). He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, John, Jacob, Henry, John, Mary and Catherine. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 77 in 1870 in Richhill, Greene County, Pennsylvania, USA.¹
