Elizabeth was born in 1786 in Frederick County, Maryland, USA.1   Elizabeth's father was John Jacob Gallentine Sr. and her mother was Maria Elizabeth Snyder (Reitenauer, Gallentine).  Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Schneider and Maria Magdalena Bissinger (Schneider). She had four brothers named Jacob, Joseph, Abraham and Daniel.  She was the second oldest of the five known children. She had three half-brothers named Adam, Johann and Johannes.

Elizabeth's family

Elizabeth and David were married in a religious & civil ceremony.1   The family line is yet to be completed.
