Edward Harper 
Edward was born in 1841 in Compton, Tettenhall, Staffordshire.1 Edward's father was James Harper and his mother was Sarah Lees. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Harper and Hannah Clift; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Lees and Mary. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Joseph, James, William, Emily, Hannah and Martha. He was the youngest of the eight children.-
