Stephen Bell

Stephen was born in 1842 in Coalcleugh, Northumberland.¹   Stephen's father was John Bell and his mother was Margaret.  His paternal grandfather was William Bell. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Wallace, John, James, Joseph, Mary and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henderson, James, William, Margaret and Elizabeth.
