'William Ellis Boynton'

William was born on March 27th, 1874 in Pinfold Lane, Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ William's father was William Ellis Boynton and his mother was Martha Hargraves. His paternal grandparents were Henry Boynton and Mary Ann Cowgill; his maternal grandparents were William Hargraves and Susannah Coates. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, Walter, Arthur, Jesse, May, Sarah and Ada. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 49 in 1923 in Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire. He was buried on June 19th, 1923 in Hunslet Cemetary, Leeds, Yorkshire.²
