'Birth Certificate'

William was born on August 21st, 1839 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ William's father was Henry Boynton and his mother was Mary Ann Cowgill. His paternal grandparents were Robert Boynton and Ann Holmes; his maternal grandparents were William Cowgill and <Unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named Samuel, Martha and Eliza. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 69 on March 1st, 1909 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire. He was buried on March 1st, 1909 at St Bartholomew, Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.²²
