Fanny was born in 1894 in Warwick, Warwickshire.  Fanny's father was James HUNT and her mother was Sarah BONEHAM.  Her paternal grandparents were John HUNT and Alice HUTT. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Fred, Sidney, Esther, Lizzie and Nellie.  She was the second youngest of the six children.
