Abner Absalom Cole

Abner was born on June 27th, 1827 in Bayou Dubonne, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Abner's father was Abraham Cole and his mother was Levincey B. Alston. His paternal grandfather was Solomon Cole and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Davis. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Dawson, Stephen, Abraham, Phillip, Raphael, Rachel, Mary, Susanna and Adeleine. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on October 31st, 1900 in Hickory Flats, Allen, Louisiana.
