Petrus Joannes was born on September 24th, 1759.  Petrus Joannes' father was Joannes Oliverius Eligius Benoit and his mother was Marie Joanna Carette.  His paternal grandparents were Andreas Benoit and Joanna Maria Geldhof. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Laurentius Joannes, Petrus Josephus, Maria Josepha, Marie Therese, Victoria and Constantia Dorothea.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at 1 months old on October 31st, 1759.
