Francois was born on March 17th, 1836.  Francois' father was Lucas Bernardus Algoet and his mother was Anna Theresia Buyse.  His paternal grandparents were Adrianus Algoet and Anna Maria Coudijzer; his maternal grandparents were Felix Buyze and Isabelle Rose Dhoop. He had two brothers and a sister, named Frederic Henri, Desiderius and Barbara.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at just 26 days old on April 12th, 1836.
