William Allen Cochran 
William was born on June 20th, 1842 in Codyville, Washington County, Maine. William's father was John W Cochran and his mother was Orena A Day. His maternal grandparents were Elisha Day Sr. and Hannah (Jane) Jane Atkinson. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Charles, John, George, Hiram, James, Freeman, Mary, Eliza, Melvina, Evelyn, Orena and Etta. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 77 on August 18th, 1919 in Codyville, Washington County, Maine.General Notes
