John Whitling

John was born in 1824 in Easingwold, Yorkshire and his christening took place there on July 7th, 1824.  John's father was George Whitling and his mother was Elizabeth Anderson.  His paternal grandparents were John Whitling and Ann Snarey. He had three brothers named Elizabeth , George and Richard.  He was the youngest of the four children.
