George Whitling

George was born in 1817 in Easingwold, Yorkshire and his christening took place there on September 28th, 1817.  George's father was George Whitling and his mother was Elizabeth Anderson.  His paternal grandparents were John Whitling and Ann Snarey. He had three brothers named Elizabeth , Richard and John.  He was the second oldest of the four sons.
