George Couper Stewart 
George was born on February 28th, 1867 in Cargill, Perthshire, Scotland. George's father was Robert Stewart and his mother was Jean Hardie. His maternal grandparents were Patrick Hardie and Betty Greig. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, William, John, Robert, Elizabeth, Ann, Elspeth, Jessie and Charlotte. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.-
