Oliver Stanley

Oliver was born on September 6th, 1836 in Ripley, Derbyshire, England and his baptism took place there on March 26th, 1837.¹   Oliver's father was James Stanley and his mother was Mary Oliver.  His maternal grandparents were Robert Oliver and Sarah Alsoppe. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, James, Sarah, Ann, Elizabeth, Alice, Mary, Martha, Deborah and Susanna.  He died at the age of 66 on January 7th, 1903.
