James Hardie 
James was born in 1845 in Aberlemno, Angus, Scotland. James' father was Andrew Hardie and his mother was Ann Eaton. His paternal grandparents were James Hardie and Christian Thomson; his maternal grandfather was John Eaton and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Peter, John, Charles, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 32 in 1877 in Forfar, Angus, Scotland.1 -
