Rose Ann Hannaway

Rose was born on June 16th, 1874 in Witton Park, Escomb, Co. Durham, England and her baptism took place on June 25th, 1874 in St Wilfred's, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England.¹   Rose's father was Peter Hannaway and her mother was Bridget Rice.  Her paternal grandfather was Peter Hannaway and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, Patrick, Michael, Mary , Mary and Bridget.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 91 on April 5th, 1966 in North Yorkshire, England.²
