John Hannaway

John was born in 1864 in Witton Park, Escomb, Co. Durham, England.  John's father was Peter Hannaway and his mother was Bridget Rice.  His paternal grandfather was Peter Hannaway and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Patrick, Michael, Mary , Mary, Rose and Bridget.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 28 in 1892 in North Yorkshire.  He was buried on January 22nd, 1892 in North Yorkshire.¹
