Michael James Hannaway

Michael was born in 1870 in Witton Park, Escomb, Co. Durham, England and his baptism took place on August 7th, 1870 in St Wilfred's, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England.¹   Michael's father was Peter Hannaway and his mother was Bridget Rice.  His paternal grandfather was Peter Hannaway and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Peter, Patrick, Mary , Mary, Rose and Bridget.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 20 in 1890.  He was buried on July 9th, 1890 in North Yorkshire.²
