Stewartina Guthrie Davidson

Stewartina was born on June 7th, 1852 in Menmuir, Angus, Scotland and her baptism took place there on July 10th, 1852.¹   Stewartina's father was Alexander Davidson and her mother was Catherine Guthrie.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Davidson and Christian Petrie. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, James, Jane, Mary, Betsey, Margaret, Catherine and Georgina.  She was the youngest of the nine children.
