Betsey Davidson

Betsey was born in 1842 in Menmuir, Angus, Scotland. Betsey's father was Alexander Davidson and her mother was Catherine Guthrie. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Davidson and Christian Petrie. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, James, Jane, Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Georgina and Stewartina. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
