John Davidson

John was born in 1807 in Murroes, Angus, Scotland.  John's father was Andrew Davidson and his mother was Christian Petrie.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Petrie and Margaret Elder. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Alexander, Andrew, David, Thomas, Isobel, Margaret, Christina, Agnes and Ann.  Christina and John were twins.
