John Davidson

John was born on September 7th, 1777 in Brechin, Angus, Scotland.  John's father was George Davidson and his mother was Katharine Strachan.  His paternal grandparents were John Davidson and Isobel Petrie. He had three brothers and four sisters, named David, James, William, Isabel, Janet, Margaret and Agnes.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
