David Davidson

David was born on May 30th, 1773 in Brechin, Angus, Scotland.  David's father was George Davidson and his mother was Katharine Strachan.  His paternal grandparents were John Davidson and Isobel Petrie. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James, William, Isabel, Janet, Margaret and Agnes.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.
