George Daines 
George was born on August 10th, 1881 in Inglewood, Taranaki, NZ. George's father was Haylett "John" Daines and his mother was Mary Ann Bugg. His paternal grandparents were William Daines and Elizabeth Hales; his maternal grandparents were William Rush and Sarah Ann Bugg. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Stephen, Sarah, Barbara, Margaret, Matilda, Mary, Barbara 'Nellie' and Alice Agnes. George and Mary were twins. He died at the age of 76 on October 7th, 1957 in Eltham, Taranaki, NZ.General Notes
