Agnaes was born in 0953 in France.1 Agnaes' father was Herbert de Vermandois and her mother was Princess of England Edgiva of Wessex. Her paternal grandparents were Herbert de Vermandois II and Adela Capet; her maternal grandparents were King Edward (The Elder) of England I and Queen of England Aelflaeda of Ethelhelm. She had a brother named Etienne. She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers named d'Outremer, Transmarinus and Charles. She died at the age of 38 in 0991.2 -
