Count of Alsace Hugh (le Mefiant) de Bourges III (Hugues of Tours, Hugh de Tours) 
Hugh, known as le Mefiant, was born in 0765 in Upper Alsace, France.1 Le Mefiant's father was Count Luitfrid of Upper Alsace II and his mother was Countess Hiltrude of Alsace. His paternal grandparents were Duke Luitfrid of Alsace and Duchess Edith of Alsace. He was an only child. He died at the age of 72 on October 20th, 0837 in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, Touraine/Centre, France.2 General Notes
