Sir Godfrey de Louvain 
Godfrey was born in 1173 in Louvain, Brabant, Belgium.1 Godfrey's father was Duc Godefroi de Louvain III and his mother was Imaine von Loos. His paternal grandparents were Duc Godefroi de Louvain II and Luitgarde von Sulzbach; his maternal grandparents were Count Ludwig von Loos I and Agnès von Metz. He had a brother named Wilhelm. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Henri. He died at the age of 53 on April 26th, 1226 in Eye Castle, Suffolk, England.1 General Notes
