Robert de Courtenay 
Robert was born about 1253 in Oakhampton, Devonshire, England.1 Robert's father was Sir John de Courtenay and his mother was Isabelle De Vere. His paternal grandparents were Baron of Okehampton Robert de Courtenay and Mary de Redviers. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Baron of Okehampton Hugh, John, Alice, Margaret, Aveline and Egelina. He was the third oldest of the seven children.-
