She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 69 on July 1st, 1906 in Home, Elberton, Elbert Co, GA. Mrs. Priscilla Brown died at her home in Elberton last Sunday morning at 8 o'clock after a short illness in the 70th year of her age. She was surrounded by her children: Messrs. J. C., D. H., and M. J. Brown; Mrs. C. P. Taylor and Mrs. R. T. Rayle, when the final summons came. The funeral services were conducted from the home on Monday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. Brewer G. Boardman and the
interment was a Elmhurst cemetery. The long funeral procession, and the profusion of beautiful floral tributes mutely spoke the love and esteem of relatives, and also of many friends, to whom her long and useful life had been a benediction. Mrs. Brown's was a gentle, lovely Christian character....
