Robert Stone

Robert was born on January 6th, 1590 in Croston, Bretherton, Lancashire, England.¹ Robert's father was Richard de Croston Stone and his mother was Isabelle Girdler. His paternal grandparents were William Stone de Twiste and Elizabeth Bradley; his maternal grandparents were John Girdler and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Thomas, Andrew, James, Mary, Jennet and Margery. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
