Henry Skaggs

Henry was born in 1843 in Madison Co., Missouri.¹ Henry's father was Stephen Skaggs and his mother was Nancy Cobb. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Hannah Holbrook. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Melton Louis, Stephen,Jr., George Washington, Joseph, Nancy E., Louisa and Mary C.. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
